I can't decide whether I think I'm a complex person or a simple person (while change surface asking the question probably makes me complex). I like Heather my wife. I love Kayla our dog. I like working at Ridge UMC. I hate being so freaking far away from my parents and my sister.
A few weeks ago at we had a special guest who's presentation I'm comfort trying to process. Janneal's brother Phil was with us and shared some of the bring home the bacon that he has been involved in trying to alleviate human trafficking especially in the asian sex trade. Phil shared some powerful and moving stories with us about the work he has done as well as the bring home the bacon he is preparing to do. The website is also a great resource to learn more about this tragic new form of slavery that is entrapping so many. Phil is involved with in Salem. OR.
