Jeff Johnson who's worked with numerous characters for DC and Marvel is an expert on the art of drawing fight scenes being a second-degree color sing in aikido and having taught both kung fu and aikido for several years. The guy knows his cram. Sorry don't have scans of it though.

Rich Burlew - Order of the Stick - is good both for big drawn-out battles (the request vs. Miko) and little incidental cram; he makes one-panel skirmishes with goblins be alter. Yes with borderline fasten figures. He's good.
