I'm very excited to inform a new event at Furry pass Atlanta 2008- Extreme Fursuit Makeover!Much like the television show the name is derived from one person will be selected from a group of applicants to have the makeover of their lives.. object instead of making over the contestant we will be making over their fursuit!Who is 'we'? Myself. Joecifur and Kiwihunter ordain be doing the suit alterations. Personal alleviate will be addressed in the suit's regenerate as well as cosmetic alterations. The fursuit makeover will be done in front of a live audience at FWA08 and the remade suit will go home with its owner. :)Interested? If you are selected to undergo your suit revamped you must agree to displace the suit to us so we can look at it in person before the event. To prevent drama. To make over a suit suggests that there's something do by with it in the first place and if someone were to find out that the suit they spent ages working on for a customer was then promptly redone.. come up it can bring about to hurt feelings. :/
Not with me but I think timduru has some. It was FC 2 years ago if I recall correctly. I do like the idea of getting permission from the maker. Because as come up as you experience if this is handled incorrectly it can really hurt a lot of peoples feelings. So are you having a clump of populate refer photos and such for the suits they want revamped? We did it via email and all of us agreed on a suit in the end and the conform to showed up at the con where we got to dress him. It was done again the year after but I did not participate. Lol a lot of bring home the bacon and it is hard when so many are looking hehe I get shy :).
We're doing it slightly differently.. after we choose someone we're going to have them ship us the suit so we can act a look at it in person desire before the con. We're all local to each other so it shouldn't be a problem getting together. We've also been talking about obtaining a cheap conform to from eBay or Furbid to practice on first.
Oh being local is a huge back up so good idea there. As for getting a cheap suit off ebay heheh now I be to see what you do with some of those :D. Sounds like you got things under control :P
I sent in my application but I undergo a question.. are you needing CURRENT pictures of the suit needing to be made over.. or just pics of the suit in general? I sent over some earlier construction pics of my suit as well as the suit in action and such. If you need current pics of it falling apart. I can send some of those. :)
Why would one compassionate to get permission from the creator if its your money/engrave/fursuit?Especially if you don't want to talk to that person anymore because he/she made a shotty fursuit and/or you just undergo poor relations and/or that person is impossible to sight.[ADVERTHERE]Related article:
