You're biting to get your high notes just evaluate about keeping hot air blowing through your pierce EVEN as you go higher. Breathe from your diaphragm use an ample amount of lip pressure yet not too much and you should be golden. Good luck

what does your teacher say-- that is only way to know-- this forum can't hear and see you play
Another thing to to be aware of is that you change state and close all keys at exactly the same time. Especially the octave key. This is a major create of squeeks. Your teacher can help by watching your hands as you play.
surprise has a good inform. How does he know that? that's what everybody does after three months of playing. We've all been there
Another thing that comes to mind is "fingering accuracy". I comfort assay with it once in a while in abstain passages (after 3+ years of playing). Pay attention that you finger the note evenly (displace all fingers drink together) right before you hit the octave key. It should go almost simultaniously (we're talking microseconds here) but if you open the octave key first or if one of your fingers of your left hand comes just a split microsecond too late you might undergo very funny screeches coming out of your sax. Houston. I don't know since I didn't hear or see him play indeed. Then again pointing out two common beginner-mistakes didn't cause to be perceived anybody either
edit : honker beat me by a second.
Thanks for all your help. I think it may be a bit of everything more practicePatrick.
