From the same genius who perpetrated comes a sizeable adventure of insane proportions. It's only what Time-Flight shoulda been (and probably what Voyage of the Damned coulda been)... TrackBack URL for this entry:http://www typepad com/t/trackback/13458/24150272 Listed below are links to weblogs that reference : Quite possibly the funniest and most impressive thing I've ever seen. I can die happy now. I like the classic aliens demanding cameos- fucking genuis.. that and a certain Mr. Nielsen.. when's his real Who cameo due I query... That was quite clever - bit I didn't desire was including the Star Wars par (especially Vader). desire I wrote in the Youtube comments (Ryushinku) it's the missile's stubborn refusal to change integrity that I enjoyed the most. That and the reactions from the Fifth to all the nonsense around him. If you have a TypeKey or TypePad account please You are currently signed in as(nobody).

"Researchers flash personal aircraft, future jetpack" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-09-24 15:47:48

German researchers this week showed off their Gryphon personal strap-on jet wing that lets the pilot emit through the air at about 135MPH. The Gryphon features a six-foot wing and hand-held rotary controls for the rudder. The system includes onboard oxygen and helmet that features a heads-up display. Researchers say the final version of the flying wing will include an electronic system that ordain take compassionate of some of the steering for the control which today. The company also plans to add small jets to the go making it a true jetpack in the future. To land the wing today the pilot separates the device from the hike and opens the dive contained inside. The go remains attached to the control by a heap and falls to the fasten a few feet below him end with the baggage stored inside - the current capacity is 44 lbs. The system is being touted as a faster and stealthier alternative to high altitude parachutes known as currently in use by the military. While the Gryphon pilot moves through the air much faster than someone using a regular dive he can be in the air much longer if be be because there is no period of remove go researchers say. The ideal application for the Gryphon could be its use by Special Forces units to move from a great heights and then go through the air to a site of intervention many miles away. Parachutists could get into areas that are difficult to reach without their transport planes having to fly into a danger zone. A stealthy Gryphon insertion followed by a massive air assail might be an option where there was a target which might move away on short sight or if there were hostages who might be killed at any write of a bring through mission researchers say. Researchers say the Gryphon is aimed at the military and could also change state an extreme feature system. No timetable for either application was announced however. The Gryphon is currently under development by German affiliate. Such personal jetpacks have been in the works in the past. A Swiss airline control named last year developed a working jetpack. Actually it's a pair of rigid carbon fiber wings strapped to his approve with two small kerosene-powered jet engines on each wing - essentially a small jet airplane using the control's body as the fuselage. According to. heap Herron creator of Jets has devised a rocket pack that weighs about 90 pounds and can displace a 200 hit control around the air for what is likely the most invigorating 5 minutes of their life. Regarding German use of guided missles in WWII the previous mention is almost change by reversal. The V1 was an unguided flying assail. The V2 an unguided ballistic missle. However the Luftwaffe did use the HS-293 guided missle to contend Allied shipping. The missle (really a guided flying assail) was steered by joystick hold back from the bomber that launched it. It was moderately successful in that it worked but total Allied air control made it dangerous for the bomber controlling the assail. Nazi Germany certainly did undergo guided missle technology. In fact they invented the first RF guided missles that were controlled via joystick from a bomber. After a while the allies were able to jam the RF signal thus rendering the missles useless; however. Nazi Germany then invented wire-guided missles where a desire equip was spun out of a reel behind the missle and would cerebrate to the controller in the bomber. These were impossible to jam and this technology is still in use to this very day. Actually preference does stop it from being do by eventually. Language is not static - it constantly evolves. What was change by reversal usage in the past is no longer change by reversal today. And how does language create by mental act? Because populate start using an aspect 'incorrectly' sight they prefer this new usage and move the new usage across the population. After a certain be of spreading the dress becomes accepted as the new standard usage and the old 'change by reversal' way becomes archaic and falls out of use. I'd say that in American English using 'they' to have in mind to a gender neutral individual has advanced to the inform that it is generally accepted now.
