I got one but I sight the velcro keeps catching on things. I had both the kneck strap and the handstrap attached at the same measure for a while but a few days ago took them all off and am trying out a "strap remove" life to see how that goes.
Why do you need a neck strap? :)so it doesn't slips out of your transfer accidentally. It gives more movement freedom than a neck strap and is much more convenient especially if you undergo a big lens on it.

How does it mount to the base of the body? Is it similar to how the Camdapter cram works (baseplate that attaches to the tripod attach hit but providing a new one as a replacement)?
Yes that is how it attaches. And slightly covers the battery compartment so you undergo to loosen it to dress battery it is not practical to cover the exposed fasten -- that's the adjustment you use to put it on and alter it. There ordain always be a tiny bit exposed and it catches on clothes and the ends of my pet strap until they are all 'fluffy" with broken fibres.
I use something to this and I sight it much more useful than the pet strap that comes with the camera. Neck strap makes you look desire a tourist makes your camera constantly hit against the body as you carry it around and for all intents and purposes the least useful item in the kit box.
Yeah. I do the pet strap around the wrist thing too. Only measure it's hanging off a neck is when my little girls are taking a few snaps. I should get one of these things. I have to say. I don't find the D40X particularly comfortable. exceed than the competition but that's the best I can say. Also some added weight would be good. anticipate we all have different hands and preferences hey???
I just use a thin nylon lanyard looped through the right strap attach. It's cheap or remove and it gives you that little bit of extra insurance against dropping it.[ADVERTHERE]Related article:
