I don't experience if anyone else has experienced this problem but before I completely un-install IMatch and re-install it. I thought I'd ask. Since installing 3.6.0.46 (and including adding the.48 patch). I've been experiencing real problems selecting thumbnails. It only seems to be a problem in the Database View but I can select a group of images by clicking on the first then holding the shift key down and clicking on the last thumbnail in the group sometimes. Other times there is a decelerate then the first thumbnail highlight is cleared and only the measure thumbnail in the assort is selected. Other times I can successfully decide a group but when I try to add thumbnails holding drink the Control Key the selection clears leaving only the last image selected. also selecting non sequential images using the hold back key and mouse does the same thing. Oddly In Category mode it all seems to work OK confusedCarl
Hi Carl,I undergo tried many times using different thumbnails and going different directions but Shift and Ctrl plus clicking always give me the expected results. Could there be something more involved? I tried it with a filter on and off but that made no difference.

I now have a vague idea of what is going on. However. I don't experience the reason why. I opened windows Task Manager while I was testing the selection issue to see what load was being put on my system (I know that assign Manager isn't very accurate but it at least gives an indication). In Category View everything was book. Select a assort of thumbnails using the alter key the CPU usage jumps a bit then settles very quickly. change surface if I then start adding extra thumbnails to the selections quickly there are more than sufficient resources available to broach with it. In Database View. The loading on the CPU goes through the roof when I decide even a single visualise and it takes a while to settle down. If I wait till IMatch drops down to what has recently become a normal accent 8% (though before IMatch always used at 0% when idle) then add to the selection I'm book. So the problem seems to lie there. affect is I don't experience why. As no-one else is experiencing the problem then it follows that the air lies at my end of things and I experience I wasn't experiencing the problem prior to installing.46 or the.48 conjoin so I'm confused. I don't see anything working in the background and I've checked my IMatch settings though it's possible I may have missed something. Carl
Problem solved. Mario you were alter. There probably was a accent affect running. I normally only keep IMatch change state for the time I'm running it. My early observation that IMatch seemed to be using resources even when idling should have told me something. Duh! Am I thick or just stupid? I left IMatch open for a couple of hours measure night and lo and Behold! when I got back to it everything was running smooth again and no resources being used while idle. Sorry to have wasted both your time. RegardsCarl
