Thumbnail uploaders

Pictage etc. Some of these services allow a pro to upload thumbnails only and then notify them once an order is placed. Of course this makes the transfer faster storage smaller and allows the photographer to comprehend the image before it hits the lab. Pros acquire an email that says. You undergo an order and then the pro uploads the beat register. Some programs will then supply a suite of tools where you could act upon the full size image before it returns some just tap into a bank where those beat files are stored. I am looking for a thumbnail uploader where only transfer thumbnails and then acquire an email alert once an request is placed. I can then rework my beat register in Photoshop and send the beat register for order fulfillment. I don't neccessarily want to use their tools or undergo to pre work all my files to be ready for an order. I only want to touch those files that customers are ordering. Anybody experience of such a system? Thanks.
->> With EM you have the choice to upload beat files or thumbnails. With the thumbnails when an order is placed you are sent an e-mail to transfer a beat visualise. They have a simple uploader or you can use ftp
->> I use PrintRoom com and I do exactly what you asked. I upload the thumbnails then when I receive an order I'm notified through telecommunicate to transfer the Full-res register. I alter the file and upload. To me is as simple as it could get.
->> Quick question Gabriel. Does Printroom just communicate you to go ahead and upload or does it automatically go into the original bank of images from that event and draw it out. Meaning that you would need to undergo the files ready to go before the request is placed?
