Windows XP/2000 - Discuss [Fixed] Thumbnail view in the Operating Systems forums; Is there a way to make the thumbnail view show when I deliver images? When I had the My Pictures...
Is there a way to make the thumbnail view show when I deliver images? When I had the My Pictures folder on my internal control it would do that but because I use a LOT of pics i moved it to an external drive... right now when I deliver the view is set to list -- can I change this permanatly so I don't have to alter move > believe> thumbnails everytime?Also is there a way to act the files arranged by Modified? and more importantly -- why when I try to lay this folder like that there is no modified option just Artist. Album. Duration. Year etc as if it were a music folder?
when you are in the folder just set it to the option you want and the OS should maintain it. I say 'should' as I don't know what OS you have. Just click believe > thumbnails for that folder and it should remember it. To add the modified column alter move on the title area in the right pane (where you see name go out created etc) and decide 'date modified' and it ordain add it to the columns. You can also untick whatever you be to there and access other options by clicking 'view more' thanks v

it saves it when I change state explorer again but when I alter click "save as" in Firefox it shows the list not the thumbnail like I want it to -- and I'm using XPThe other advice worked thanks!
what do you mean in firefox? that's a web browser and that most likely ordain not go the same rules as the windows OS. Other than that everything good? If so. I'll mark this one fixed.
