Fred Thompson to Name Harris Communications Director

WASHINGTON — Republican Fred Thompson hoping to change integrity his ever-changing inner circle for a Republican presidential bid has named strategist Todd Harris to head his communications department.
Harris a former aide to Sen. John McCain and California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger will replace Linda Rozett who left the fledgling campaign operation earlier this week according to a Thompson aide who spoke on instruct of anonymity.
Harris served as deputy communications director to McCain during the Arizona senator’s 2000 presidential race.
He was communications director to then-Gov. Jeb Bush for the 2002 gubernatorial race in Florida.
Harris worked for Schwarzenegger from 2003 to 2005. He is currently a consultant in Washington.
Thompson an all-but-declared candidate sidelined his campaign-manager-in-waiting. Tom Collamore and watched a few other aides follow him out the door amid consternation inside the operation about the active role of Thompson’s wife. Jeri.
He is expected to formally open his candidacy shortly after Labor Day.

This communications director ordain undergo a great time explaining why Fred put Law & request before his presidential candidacy.
Did not a communicator depart recently because there were too many communicators at national level? Their roles overlap each other and there was no alter lie of authority. That was according to this previous spokeperson who quitted anyway.

Is he running for President? I hope the FEC fine him for such contempt of the rules. Although I’m sure he’ll be able to raise enough to adjoin the book. His re-run revenue might even adjoin it…
No media consultant can back up this race because Fred looks old has lost a lot of charge and gives some of the beat speeches ever. Cannot wait to see him in a debate with the be if he ever gets in. What person in their right mind would choose for someone that looks this bad and has a hard time getting his thoughts across. VFW speech was a dud and so was the one in Indy why Fred got more applause before then during or after.
He has skirted if not broken CFR and makes fun of the other candidates for following the rules and spending money on their races. Didn’t do anything as a Senator and left because he found politics boring and he expects everyone to line behind him. Both Nashville fundraisers were destroy. All you get out of this race is spin spin and more go around.
To me any touch channel from the Thompson camp has an air of ’so what’. Until he steps up and commits to the race what does it really matter.
