Hey guys,How do I replace my horn pad on my 2001 Chev Malibu without setting off the air bag. The other day on my way domiciliate I had to hit the pierce because of a guy in the lay of texting on the cell crossed into my lane and the horn wouldn't shut off !Had to pound the pierce pad a couple of times to get it to stop blowing then it went off again by itself in the middle of the night ( can't have that). So for about 2 weeks I've had my pierce disconnected. say: It's not the relay it's the HORN pad. I could always run a bypass pierce button but only as a last apply. So besides disconnecting the battery what steps do I act to remove and regenerate this pierce pad without disturbing the air bag?????? Since it usually does require the removal of the airbag to get to the horn change by reversal itself you might want to have a mechanic work on it.
